Congratulations on your newest family member! It is recommended that newborns see a doctor within 48-72 hours after being discharged from the hospital. At this visit, you can expect a full physical exam and weight check. We will also go over any concerns or questions you may have. Follow up appointments will be scheduled accordingly. Our team at Kids Corner are happy to be a part of your child’s “medical home.” We are here to monitor your child’s physical and psychosocial growth and development and manage any concerns that may arise.

If your family physician provides primary care to your child, they may sometimes suggest a referral to a pediatrician for a specific need. We are happy to be of assistance in any way possible and work alongside your child’s family physician to assess medical concerns for your child.

Dr. Alex completed additional training at the International Breastfeeding Center (Newman Clinic). For your convenience, you can book for assessment by both the pediatrician and pediatric dentist.

We are open for your child’s last minute medical needs. Please call us ahead of time so we can ensure your child is seen in a timely manner! For true emergencies, please contact your closest hospital.
